Community Midwife

Midwives will carry out ante–natal checks both at the ante/post–natal wards at St Mark's or Wexham Park Hospitals or at home. You must inform the Midwife Team of your pregnancy as soon as possible via the Wexham Park Hospital Pregnancy Notification Form. You will be contacted to make your 10 week check with a midwife. You do not need to see your GP before this unless you are concerned about your pregnancy.

Midwives will visit new mothers at home in the first fortnight after giving birth. Don't forget to register your baby and book your 6 week post-natal check with your GP.
