Please ensure that if you send prescriptions through on-line access that you have already informed the surgery of your nominated choice of pharmacy. We understand there has been some problems with this over the last few weeks and we do apologise for any inconvenience.

Repeat Prescriptions

Please be aware that the doctors will not prescribe medication which can be bought over the counter, such as paracetamol and cough medicine.

You can either request a prescription using our online service, drop your repeat slip into a local chemist, post the repeat slip to us, bring into the surgery by hand or fax to us. Remember to allow 72 hours (3 working days) for your prescription to be ready but this may be longer if you use a local pharmacy.

You must allow 72 hours before collecting your scripts, but if there are special circumstances we will always accommodate where at all possible.

Please note we do not accept repeat prescriptions over the telephone.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.

Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
